On January 8, the "Hydrogen Spin 4" hydrogen-powered drone flight test operation, led by the Daishan County Data Service Center and undertaken by Hailai Cloud Intelligence and Hydrogen Aviation Technology, was officially launched at the Daishan County Data Service Center. This flight across the sea further verified the potential of hydrogen electricity in long-term performance and provided reliable guarantee for subsequent sea inspections.

Zhoushan is a famous "Thousand Islands City". Zhoushan waters are an important maritime transportation hub, with many merchant ships, fishing boats, passenger ships and other types of ships frequently traveling. Maritime inspections require large investments, many regulatory objects, and difficulty in obtaining evidence. At the same time, the sea conditions in the jurisdiction are complex, signals are easily blocked, and there are blind spots in the field of vision. During the drone inspection process, the drone inspection endurance and link requirements are also high. The Hydrogen-4 used in this test flight can be used in maritime, port and shipping, fishery administration, public security and other fields.

At noon that day, the technicians of Hydrogen Aviation Technology operated the "Hydrogen No. 4" hydrogen-powered drone, equipped with a dual-light pod and recording the flight and sea conditions throughout the journey, departed from the helipad downstairs of the Daishan County Data Service Center, flew to the central fishing port of Qushan Town and successfully arrived. The cross-sea flight was 30km round trip, took 1h15min, and there was still 14.8MPa of hydrogen remaining when it landed. It is estimated that the remaining hydrogen can support the drone's flight for about 1h. This result further verifies the huge potential of hydrogen electricity in long-term performance, and provides a solid and reliable guarantee for subsequent sea inspections.

At the end of 2024, Zhoushan City issued the "Several Opinions on Promoting the Development of Low-altitude Economic Industry", which clearly stated that the low-altitude economy will be actively built as a "new growth engine" for urban development.
