2 ton eVTOL cooperation with European partners

On June 5, Mr. Martin, a European friend, visited the headquarters of Hydrogen Aviation Technology and had an in-depth discussion with the company's senior management on the cooperation plan for the 2-ton hydrogen-powered eVTOL project. The team led by Mr. Martin has received tens of millions of euros in funding from the IPCEI project, which will be used specifically for the research and development of hydrogen-electric aviation products.

It is understood that IPCEI (Important Project of Common European Interest) is a large-scale state aid project aimed at promoting common interests in Europe, covering multiple fields such as microelectronics, photovoltaics, batteries, semiconductors and hydrogen energy. In December 2021, the IPCEI hydrogen energy project was officially launched with the goal of promoting the development of the entire hydrogen value chain to achieve the goals set in the EU's Hydrogen Energy Strategy released in 2020 and lay a solid foundation for Europe's blue hydrogen and green hydrogen markets.

During the exchange, Mr. Martin spoke highly of the products of Hydrogen Aviation Technology and expressed his expectation for cooperation between the two sides in the field of hydrogen-electric aviation. Liu Haili, founder, chairman and general manager of Hydrogen Aviation Technology and other senior leaders warmly welcomed Mr. Martin's visit.

During this visit, Mr. Martin visited the production base of Hydrogen Aviation Technology in Deqing and reached a principle agreement with the company's senior leaders on cooperation in hydrogen-electric manned aircraft, including the first 2-ton hydrogen-powered eVTOL project. Both parties expressed their willingness to further strengthen communication and cooperation in the future and jointly promote the innovative development of hydrogen-electric aviation.
